Southwind Sporting Clays and Quail Hunting
Preserve, previously known as Myrtlewood Sporting Clays, Inc., was the first
established sporting clays course in the state of Georgia. We are
conveniently located in on US 84 west of Valdosta, Georgia quietly nestled in 2000 acres of
upland pines and hardwood bottoms.
Each year Southwind helps raise over $200,000 for
several charities like... cystic fibrosis and the boy scouts,
John Peek, owner operator,
John started working and shooting on a private hunting
preserve several years ago. He has applied these years of knowledge into
building Southwind into a leading sporting clay and quail hunting facility.
