The new Sporting Clay Course is open. We still have some work to
do but it sure feels good to knock the dust off our guns... Come on buy
and pop a few hundred rounds at our new course layout...
Southwind Sporting Clays and Quail Hunting
Preserve, also known as Myrtlewood Sporting Clays, Inc., was the first
established sporting clays course in the state of Georgia. We are conveniently
located on US 84 just west of Valdosta on Ousley road. Quietly nestled
among the southern pines of Georgia.
Southwind Sporting Clays specializes in
entertaining family, friends and corporate executives of any size
groups. We offer sporting clay courses as an enjoyable challenge to both
the pleasure shooter, the wing shooter and the tournament shooter.
Our sporting clay course offers 16
fully automatic stations located in over a mile of upland pine
plantation that can be both challenging and pleasurable. Other clay
target shooting includes our wobble trap, 35 foot dove tower and NSCA
5-Stand. All are lighted for night shooting
After you have finished with a shoot or
a hunt you can relax in our spacious lodge or bed down for the night in
one of our comfortable sleeping quarters.
Southwind also offers quail, deer and
spring gobbler season hunts.
